Flavia Creator 400
Next in our vs. series is Keurig vs. Flavia. I was first introduced to Flavia Coffee Makers at my internship my first year of Graduate School. To recap, Keurig is a company of coffee makers and a subsidary of Green Mountain Coffee. Keurig has six different main models that run the gamut in terms of price range and features. The good news is that even the cheapest models, the Keurig Mini and Keurig Elite, coming in at around $60 or $70 in some online and store retailers, produce the same great coffee in the same quick time as the more expensive models, such as the Platinum and the Keurig Breville models. The more expensive models have more features and more customization but all models are known for their ease of use, speed in making coffee and easy cleaning ability. The differences lie in style, design and the size of the water reservoir, as well as intended use. For example, Keurig has a model designed specifically as an office coffee maker that is built to be rugged and withstand a constant bombardment of uses, called the OfficePro.
