The Keurig B3000
Keurig Coffee Makers are not only for the home. Keurig has a line of Office Coffee Makers to suit your Office Java Lover’s needs.
One of the differences between the Office Keurig machines and the Home Keurig Coffee Makers is that the Office Versions pull the K-Cups into a disposal receptacle within the machine. Keurig Home Coffee Makers require the used K-Cup to be removed manually after brewing. Another difference between the two classes of machines is that commercial machines are connected to a water supply line, whereas some of the home and small office machines instead have water tanks that need to be refilled manually.
The four Keurig Coffee Maker Models are the Office Pro, The B140, The B200 and the B3000. Keurig Office Brewers or Commercial Grade are engineered to stand up to the toughest demands of commercial/office use. Commercial Keurig brewers are UL Approved for Commercial Use, and include special construction/materials required for such approval.
The B3000 is the largest, with aesthetic appeal, yet completely compact. It’s the model recommended for large offices which employ 30 or more personnel so that they can benefit from having a fresh cup of coffee all day long. It can work for large offices because it’s the only model that utilizes plumbing of the hot water. With other Keurig models you have to manually fill the water up in creating your coffee. Another bonus is that it has the unlimited back-to-back brewing feature. That allows the Keurig B3000 to make several cups of coffee at once quickly without a delay for each individual worker.
For those who are using the Keurig B3000 model in an office environment, the machine can even double up as a vending coffee machine since there is a full-featured coin charger included. The four brew sizes which come in 4 oz., 6 oz., 8 oz. and 10 oz. is another customized feature that employees will enjoy.
The Keurig Office Pro is for offices with 15 people or less. It includes a drain-able internal water reservoir for transport or storage (a feature not available on the Home Keurig Coffee Makers brewers). The cup sizes for this model are 6oz, 8oz and 10oz. The Keurig Office pro also has a removable drip tray which means that employees can use their travel mugs. It also has an auto off feature.
The Keurig B140 also includes a drain-able internal water reservoir for transport or storage (a feature not available on the Home Keurig Coffee Makers brewers). The cup sizes for this model are 6oz, 8oz and 10oz. It also has a removable drip tray which means that employees can use their travel mugs. It also has an auto off feature.
The B200 has the flexibility to either be connected directly to a water source or to be used as a “pour over” brewer by simply filling the water reservoir built into the coffee maker. The Keurig B200 features two different cup size/brew strength options (6-oz. and 8-oz.) and, like the B3000, has the option of being used with a separate water filter. Both units are also vending compatible.
Depending on your office needs, there should be a Keurig Model that is right for you and your co-workers.
