Keurig Elite

Keurig Elite

If you’re interested in buying a Keurig Coffee Maker, there are many options to chose from. Which one is right for you depends on your needs and wants. Do you prefer a small one for counter space? Do you prefer lots of features, is it all about aestics? Are you only making the coffee for you or for others? Here’s a list of the models available by Keurig.

Keurig Mini Brewer: Tiny, Compact and Basic The Keurig Mini Brewer is the smallest Keurig Coffee Maker in the series, with only the most basic features. It’s the best choice for easy storage and smaller spaces, like vacation homes, cabins, college dorms, boats, RVs, and home office desktops, or for those, like me, with a uber tiny kitchen. Even with its small size, the Keurig Mini Brewer is simple easy to use and brews an 8 ounce cup just like the regular brewers. It also heats up heats 8 ounces of water in about 3 minutes and then brews just like the other Keurig Coffee brewers with no water remaining in the brewer. It comes in three colors (black, red, and white) and for about $20.00 extra comes with its own carrying case. Finally, like other Keurig Coffee Makers, it makes excellent tea and cocoa.

Keurig Elite Brewer: Gourmet tastes for a diner budget The Elite Brewing System is Keurig’s gourmet home brewing made affordable. Available for around $100, the Keurig Elite is the lowest priced Keurig with a water reservoir. While the Mini Brewer is smaller and costs less, the Elite offers several conveniences you will enjoy. You can select two different cup sizes for brewing (8 ounce or 10 ounce), and it has a programmable Auto On/Off. Plus, the 48 oz. removable water reservoir lets you brew up to 8 cups of coffee before refilling. You will also like the removable drip tray that lets you fill a travel mug easily and makes cleaning easier. The Keurig Elite is great for putting a no frills, single serve Keurig coffee maker in your kitchen..

Special Edition Keurig Brewer: Larger, More Features, Aestitically Pleasing The Special Edition Brewing System offers additional conveniences and attractive styling for your kitchen. With all of the features of the Elite Brewer, it adds a third size for brewing (you can choose between 6, 8 and 10 oz cups). You’ll like how this shines on your counter top, with its attractive chrome accents and blue, back lit LCD display. As with all Keurig Coffee Makers, you get great coffee and easy cleanup.

Platinum Brewing System: options galore You can step up to the Platinum Brewing System, which gives you the widest range of five different cup size options for brewing (4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz. ).The Platinum includes a complete list of convenient features, including Auto On/Off, Digital Clock, Adjustable Temperature Control and the “Set Your Favorite Cup Size” option. The larger, 60 oz. removable water reservoir holds up to ten cups before refilling. You can use your favorite travel mug, too because of the removable drip tray.

Breville Coffee Maker: crème de la crème: For the very best coffee maker using Keurig technology and K-Cups, consider the upscale Keurig-Breville coffee system. Offered through high-end small kitchen appliance manufacturer, Breville, this model has a polished stainless steel exterior, a 64 oz reservoir with a built-in water filtration system. With all of the features of the Platinum and more, you can adjust coffee temperature and choose between four brew strength sizes. It includes a dishwasher safe, reusable My K-Cup filter so you can use your own ground coffee. The reusable filter even fits into storage built into the top of the Breville.

The Breville system costs more, but I do like the adjustable temperature and reusable filter features that this model gives you. It’s definitely the most customizable Keurig Coffee Maker in the series.

So, there you have the models available by Keurig. Next time we’ll go into how Keurig stacks up with other one cup coffee makers.
